Soduku
Soduku is the logic based number game, also
know as number place. The game is simple to play with the aim being
to fill the empty cells of the Soduku grid so that each column, row
and 3x3 grid contain the digits 1 to 9.
The puzzle was published in the magazine Dell Pencil
Puzzles and Word Games, however it was originally called Number
Place. In 1984 the puzzle arrived in Japan it was named Soduku an
appeared in the paper Nikolist. The meaning of the word Soduku in
English is "the numbers must occur only once".
